Project Evaluation Rubric

   What this means is this is how you will be graded, both by yourselves and your teacher.  Look closely at each category and what I expect to see in each.  All grades will be discussed with you after your final presentation.

Mechanics Includes more than 5 grammar errors, misspellings, punctuation errors, etc. Includes 3-4 grammar errors, misspellings, punctuation errors, etc. Includes only 1-2 grammar errors, misspellings, punctuation errors, etc. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization are correct.  No errors exist.    
Cooperative

Group Work

Works with others, but has difficulty sharing decisions and responsibilities with others. Works with others, takes part in some decisions, and contributes.  Works well with others, takes part in all decisions, and contributes fair share to group. Works very well with others.  Assumes a lead role and related responsibilities.  Motivates others to do their best as well.

Presentation

Some difficulty communicating ideas, due to voice projection, lack of prep, or incomplete work. Communicates ideas with decent voice projection, decent prep, and some enthusiasm. Communicates ideas with proper voice projection, adequate prep, and good enthusiasm. Communicates ideas with enthusiasm, good voice projection, good language, and clear, captivating delivery.    

Grading Scale:  15-16 pts (A) 13-14 pts (B) 11-12 pts (C) 9-10 pts (D)
