Students of the Month

    Monthly, I honor both a boy and girl student from our class that best exemplifies hard work and citizenship.  Children like these make my job worthwhile...

                                              Hailey                                                            Ben

This young lady is perhaps the most quiet, shy student I have ever had in class, but what a reader!  Her comprehension, pitch, and articulation are among the best I have ever seen.  Hailey has done some fine work this year, mostly overcoming her shyness and has made some nice, new lifelong friends as well.  I look forward to following Hailey's success in years to come. 

Don't let the quiet, shy exterior fool you...this guy is anything BUT shy.  Ben is an incredibly friendly, responsible young man.  He works very hard at everything assigned and has improved his reading comprehension skills quite a bit this year.  Ben also has tackled a new challenge this year by learning Chess and joining the Chess Club.   I am sure that this young man will succeed at anything he chooses.
