Students of the Month
Monthly, I honor both a boy and girl student from our class that best exemplifies hard work and citizenship. Children like these make my job worthwhile...
Emma Nathanael
This young lady isn't afraid of much of anything....including work! Emma took awhile to become acclimated to Cherry Street and 4th Grade, but has quite obviously shifted gears during the past several months. She attacks each new concept with interest, motivation, and IS NOT AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS! Emma is a friend to everyone and even volunteered to be a "Study Buddy" to a student that needed extra help. Emma's grades are the best in the class during this period and has even learned to play chess. When she grows up, Emma dreams of becoming a Veterinarian.
Don't let the quiet, shy exterior fool you....this guy has it all. Nathanael never causes a fuss and hardly ever speaks, but his work is always "Top Notch"! After an initial period of learning the increased responsibility of 4th grade, Nathanael has truly blossomed into a highly motivated, well mannered citizen. He is one of those students that teachers love every year because of their dependability and trustworthiness. Kind, friendly, hard working, and diligent are just some of the words I would use to describe Nathanael. When he grows up, Nathanael would love to follow in his father's footsteps.
Congratulations to both our February
Junior Blazer Award Winners..
